Redesign the art trading platform to increase functions of art
communication and more practical features
Artsy is an online platform for collecting and discovering art,
Expanding the art market to support more artists and art in the world.
Also offering lots of useful information about gallery and buying or selling arts on it.
Making this app more easier to use and letting users better to pursue their goals.
Making improvements in the user interface to providing a cleaner presentation of the content.
Improve the connection between users.
Adding the navigation button to the main page.
Making painting page layout more organized
Reorganize the layout of the main page, Including sales and presentation layout
Highlight photos of the artwork vertical surface detection function.
More intuitive to use.
A more secure trading channel
A detailed explanation of the value of the auction
Messy typography,
Single drawing arrangement
The picture is badly arranged and misaligned
The map guide is available in only a few cities and has no user feedback or comments.
Add comments and feedback and classify the art gallery according to different styles and levels, which can save time and speed up user search efficiency.
No navigation button and home page ,for now this button is only used for researching
Only arrange paintings with different contents in a single way, which wastes a lot of time for users to read and query
Add the navigation button, divide the pictures of different contents and add the recommendation page according to the user's preference. Make the choice directly instead of putting the search in the first place on the page
NO highlight photos of the artwork-VR. There is no distinction between paintings that can be viewed with VR function, and the judgment can only be made after clicking one by one. The small logo of the page that can be viewed with VR function makes the layout logic of this function unreasonable.
Make the whole page migration with the button of VR function, and create a separate navigation page to view.
Saatchi Art is the world's leading online art gallery, established with the goal of helping people all over the world connect with art and artists they love. Making it welcoming and accessible for artists and collectors alike.

Artnet Auctions allows fast transactions at low costs; The Artnet Price Database offers objective information on prices.
More art articles, interviews, magazines and reviews are available
One user to say; “the new design has left out one of Artsy’s most interesting features: the magazine.” Perhaps in trying to make the app cleaner and simpler Artsy has taken away lots of interesting and useful content for those who are using the app for browsing purposes and not necessarily to buy artworks.
The comment function of art is deleted, so that people can't feel other people's opinions when viewing art, and disagree with simplifying comments and content that can be Shared

Laura Lyu
Age:25
CHINA
Laura is now a teaching assistant at University College London.
She enjoys spending afternoon tea with friends or finding an interesting place to relax when she is free. It is usually her weekend choice to go to an interesting exhibition.
She usually is in her circle of friends and they know where there are good-looking exhibits on social media.
Summary:
Laura usually knows where there are good exhibitions and the specific content and times of the exhibitions from friends or social media but this method takes a lot of time and energy.
If it is only a small exhibition then she may choose to only view it online, or use the app to buy art if the amount is not too high.
She felt this app is not very clear. The gallery information does not include all the details that she is looking for. Also, the lack of security features for the auction function makes her nervous about buying art so she doesn’t dare to try.
Key Points:
· The app can have a recommendation page that directly highlights popular art shows without the user having to search for them.
· The specific information about the art exhibitions is not detailed enough, and there is no information about exhibitions time and admission prices.
· The process of buying and selling is easy, but the high prices of items without corresponding security features leads people to worry about using these features.
Shona Fraser
Age:26
British
Shona has been a mobile UI engineer in an interaction studio for two and a half years.
She works closely with the product manager of the company and regularly attends UI design seminars to fill gaps in her professional knowledge.
She likes to browse a lot of interesting apps on mobile devices to see the process and logic of different software used for interface design.
Recently, she has been participating in the design of a school learning iOS app to help students find any learning needs they want on mobile terminals at any time.
Summary:
Talking about professional art apps, she believes that the key is to understand the user's availability and usage cycle for each function. For people who are learning about design or are interested in art, she recommends visiting art galleries or exhibitions or participating in discussions about art. However, many software related to exhibitions waste a lot of time on searching, which reduces user usage.
She thinks the app is generally useful for Artsy because it provides a broad range of functions, such as a guide to finding nearby galleries. However, there is still a lot of zones for improvement.
Key Points:
· The app does not have a home page or clear instructions about how to use it when you first try it out.
· In order to perform any operation (for example, to find a class), the user must first input the artist’s name they can access any detailed listings. This is a waste of a click, and can be avoided if the home page shows detailed category options.

Bio
Elizabeth has her own work schedule and schedule, so she can't participate in every exhibition or auction she wants to go to. Therefore, it is a good way for her to auction online and save and transport to the place that she need in a safe way
One user to say; “the new design has left out one of Artsy’s most interesting features: the magazine.” Perhaps in trying to make the app cleaner and simpler Artsy has taken away lots of interesting and useful content for those who are using the app for browsing purposes and not necessarily to buy artworks.
Elizabeth got the painting she loved
Set-up: Elizabeth has her own unique taste and aesthetic as a successful interior designer. She likes Pop Art and also loves buying art for her job and as her own hobby. However, because of her busy work schedule, she doesn’t have a lot of time to see exhibitions or to discover new works of art. So, when she has time, she often focuses on attending an exhibition or an auction of one of her favorite artists. Unfortunately, buying art takes a lot of time and research, so it can be a very difficult thing to do.
Action: She previously set up Artsy to follow her favorite artists. Today, she got a notification that an auction of Andy Warhol’s work was beginning. She immediately logged into the app. Then she used the search function to find Andy Warhol’s work. Finally, she entered her bidding price for the work.
Result: Artsy notified her that she had the winning bid on the Andy Warhol work.

Bio
As a student of fine art, I often don't know how to get more inspirations to complete my paintings without losing my own style. At the same time, I don't want to waste my limited money to see some works that I don't like
“I feel anxious when I am uninspired to finish my work. I love going to exhibitions find inspiration. However, I am only inspired by certain artists, so I want to know specific informations about each show.”
Damon goes to galleries to find inspiration
Set-up: Diamond is a 25-year-old art student. His major is Fine Art and he is living in Los Angeles now. He usually does his own painting at the studio every day from Monday to Friday. Next month, he has a mid-term project checkpoint, but he is a little uninspired recently. He is looking for a way to get inspiration from an exhibition.
Action: He looks in the app store art-related applications. He finds the Artsy app and downloads it. He clicks the gallery guide and finds that there are a lot galleries in his city. He clicks on the gallery map page and sees which gallery is closest to him. He chose No 9 Saatchi gallery and sees that they are still open.
Result: He goes to the gallery and is inspired by the work he sees.
